In Occasion of Software Freedom Day 2008 (SFD2008)
The OPEN SOURCE GROUP invites you to the FIRST MEETING of the academic year 2008/2009.

Members will give three presentations in occasion of SFD2008
1- Introduction to Free Software and SFD (Ibrahim Mufeed)
2- Free Alternatives to Proprietary Software (Ahmad Amri)
3- Why Software Freedom is Necessary to Jordan (Issa Mahasneh)

The meeting will also discuss group's main issues and future plans.

(Sarcastic voice) What is better than healthy biological food, a dinner with the most prominent personalities of this country and a calm promenade in the luxurious Irbid's University Street?

You can bring your friends, relatives (i.e cousins in Jordanian sense), neighbours and anonymous users as well.

The OSG is a student group created to promote free software and open source applications.

On February 14, we will all gather to know each other and to discuss about the group's goals, mission and future activities.

It is very important to registered members to come, you can also bring your friends to this event.
